About Carole Allen
Welcome to the busy, vibrant world of Carole Allen Jewellery, where every day is an adventure.
When I started making jewellery, little did I know that today it would become not only a successful business but also the major focus in my life. Here in the glorious and colourful county of Cornwall, I have been able to develop a range of jewellery, which reflects the beauty of my surroundings.
My skills have developed through my time at Birmingham Jewellery School, John Cass and West Dean College. A particular focus has been on enamelled jewellery, which I have studied under some of the leading teachers in the country.
In 2008 I moved from the spare room into a beautiful purpose built studio in the garden of my home in Cornwall. This has been extended twice since to accommodate my growing business. I now employ a small team of talented jewellery graduates to help stay on top of orders and also to keep me sane (well almost!).
In recent years I have been specialising in jewellery making workshops where it has been my delight to help people make their own jewellery. I particularly love helping couples to make their wedding rings, sometimes from their own recycled gold. I always get a thrill from meeting couples and hearing about their forthcoming weddings. I love the look of amazement when their rings are transformed from a charred lump of metal to beautiful and meaningful wedding bands, often with a personalised engraving on the inside.
My work is now well known all around the world. I sell through Notonthehighstreet.com, Etsy as well as on my own website.
I particularly like to personalise my work with names or hidden quirky messages and am now firmly on the map for handmade personalised jewellery which is also exceptionally beautiful.
