lilac and gold enamel earrings

This gorgeous pair of lilac and gold enamel earrings is one of a kind and no other earrings will look quite the same. They make great earrings for the mother of the bride as they will set off any outfit. They will particularly glow in the summer sun.

The enamels are kiln fired to a very high temperature where the layers of glass enamel powders fuse together on a copper base, giving this almost translucent look. On the final firing, pure gold foil is added to the enamels. They are then set into a silver frame and hung with a quartz bead. Each one is like a tiny abstract painting and they are sure to attract admiration. They are also light to wear in the ear.

The earrings measure approximately 5cm from the hook to the bottom of the bead. The enamel measures approximately 2cm x 1.5cm
